January Fossils meeting

Our next meeting will be on January 12, 2020. It will be an "away" meeting at Our Lady of Perpetual Hops at 6:00PM. Their address is 300 Foundation Court, New Albany, IN  47150. This is located in the  New Albany Industrial Park off Grant Line Road.  (the one with Fire King at the entrance).

We cannot bring homebrew or other commercial beer to drink at their location but we are going to have a raffle. Please bring items for the raffle and money to purchase raffle tickets. The raffle does generate some cash to help offset some of the club's expenses

FOSSILS Christmas Party 2019!!!

FOSSILS Christmas Party is Saturday, December 7, 2019. Our host again this year is Gary Page.
1008 W. Harrison Avenue, Clarksville IN. 47129-2537. It will begin at 5:00 P.M. Please bring a covered dish to share. The club will provide the meat. Fried chicken and maybe a meat and cheese tray. Also please bring items for the raffle and money to purchase raffle tickets. Dennis Barry and Gary Page are brewing for Christmas party. (Scotch Ale, Celebration Ale and a Cream Ale). Also please bring any beer that you would like to share (homebrew or other). This is always a good time and hope to see you there.

FOSSILS Summer Party Saturday August 17th

FOSSILS Summer Party will be at Kira and Ed Tash's House 7926 County Line Rd. Saturday, August 17th, 3pm until we're done. Club will supply meat; please bring your favorite go-to side dish or dessert. Bring some beer to sample or share. We'll have a cold plate set up. Kids are welcome anytime. There is a pool and lots of room for outdoor games, as well as a firepit if it gets cool. Rain will send us indoors.

Old FOSSILS, New FOSSILS, Lapsed FOSSILS - all are invited.

Please let us know if you plan to come so we can get a good estimate of a headcount.

July FOSSILS Meeting, Sunday July 14

Our next meeting is Sunday July 14th, at 6:00 PM at the New Albanian on Grantline Rd.
For our July meeting will be having a tasting of Sours and Farm House Ales.

June FOSSILS meeting Sunday June 9th.

Our next meeting is Sunday June 9th, at 6:00 PM at the New Albanian on Grantline Rd.

Since we all enjoyed tasting different beers of the same style and doing a side by side comparison at previous meetings we want to do this again but instead of the officers picking a style it will be by popular vote. 
This month we are asking everyone to bring 2 to 3 bottles of your favorite beer (or style).
After everyone tries the beers we will vote on the favorite style to have at a future meeting.
This way everyone has a say. Some people love IPA's while others may prefer a Kolsch or something in between. All styles are open for the tasting. 

As always please bring raffle items and money for raffle tickets.

This month we will have a guided tasting of beers from 450 North.
