20th Anniversary FOSSILs Dinner!!! RSVP Now for Sept. 18th!!!

WHAT:  20th Anniversary FOSSILs Dinner,
WHEN:  Sept. 18th
WHERE:  Ed Needham's 1902 McDonald Lane New Albany ( less than 5 minutes
from Richo's)
 
Start time:  2:00 p.m.  Snacks/appetizers will be available
Supper time:  6:00 p.m.
Caterer:  Steve Thomas
Price: ~$15 per person-THIS IS AN RSVP EVENT.  Please RSVP by September 3rd

What YOU need to bring:  Please plan to bring a chair, drinking vessel,
great raffle items, Special Brews to share...
What YOU need to do:  Bring pop up canopies, folding tables and
volunteers to help set up tents etc. (Please lend a hand - the Fossils tent
requires at least 8 people).

What YOU MUST DO BEFORE THE PARTY:  Need photos, Fossils memorabilia,
short stories of memorable events over the last 20 years.  Any trivia
bits-n-pieces please forward to Kira Tash

August Executive Meeting -- this Thursday August 12

The summer has just flown by.  I can't believe we are already near the middle of August. School starts this week for the New Albany public schools and we should start seeing Christmas decorations going up in the stores.  Jeesh... 

This Saturday is our August FOSSILS Homebrew Club Meeting.  With elections coming in October, we will begin at this meeting by hearing speeches from those who want to run for FOSSILS office. So get your speeches prepared and let's get started on a quality election!  Also at this meeting, Dennis Stockslager will educate us on building a mash tun from commonly available parts at home.  

To prepare for this meeting and discuss plans for the future, I would like to convene an Exectutive Meeting this Thursday at 7:30pm at RichO's. 

We will have a number of things to talk about, including 20th Anniversary activities, bylaws revisions and updates, budget, nominations and elections, and Sunday Meeting arrangements.  As with all Executive meetings, all FOSSILS members are invited and can participate in the discussions.

Please come on out and support your club.
